HireTrades is a marketplace connecting homeowners with tradespeople. We provide the platform only — contracts for work are made directly between homeowners and tradespeople, and we are not a party to them.
You must be 18 or over and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account.
Tradespeople must hold any licences, qualifications and insurance required for their trade, describe their services accurately, and honour quotes and bookings made through the platform.
Paid features (Premium, HirePro, credits, boosts, map spots and similar) are billed as described at the point of purchase. Purchased credits do not expire; promotional or gifted credits may carry an expiry date shown when granted. Refunds are handled in line with UK consumer law and any product-specific guarantees stated in the app.
You retain ownership of content you post but grant us a licence to display it on the platform. Fraud, harassment, fake reviews, spam and unlawful content are prohibited and may lead to suspension or removal.
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may moderate or remove reviews that breach these terms.
We provide the platform "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the quality of work performed by tradespeople, for disputes between users, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
